Signs
• Dryer will not start or stops mid-cycle when tS code appears
• Clothes remain damp or wet after a complete drying cycle
• Display screen shows 'tS' error message
• No heat is being generated during the drying process
• Dryer may run but produce only cold air
• Inability to select any drying cycles or temperature settings

Possible Causes
• Faulty thermal fuse has blown due to restricted airflow or internal heat buildup
• Temperature sensor (thermistor) is defective or has failed
• Loose or disconnected wiring harness to the thermal sensor assembly
• Clogged dryer vent duct restricting proper airflow and triggering thermal cutoff
• Lint accumulation inside the dryer drum housing or blower wheel
• High-limit thermostat has tripped and needs reset
• Control board malfunction affecting temperature sensor communication
• 240V heating element failure or poor electrical connection to heating circuit
Step 03
Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check that the circuit breaker powering your dryer (typically a 240V double-pole breaker) has not tripped; reset if necessary
• Unplug the dryer or turn off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then restore power to perform a hard reset
• Remove and inspect the lint trap filter for excessive lint buildup; clean thoroughly with a lint brush
• Verify the exterior dryer vent hood is not clogged or blocked by lint, debris, or bird nesting
• Inspect the dryer vent duct behind and around the unit for kinks, crushes, or lint accumulation; straighten or clear as needed
• Ensure the dryer door is closing completely and the door latch is functioning properly
• Review the control panel settings to confirm the correct cycle and temperature are selected
• Allow the dryer to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before attempting to restart
• Clean the exterior lint vent opening with your hand or a vent cleaning brush
• Verify proper 240V power supply is reaching the dryer by checking if the display lights up and responds to button presses
