Possible Causes

Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's circuit breaker to ensure the dryer's dedicated 240V circuit (or 120V depending on model) has not tripped; reset if necessary
• Remove and inspect the lint filter thoroughly; clean it completely and reinstall
• Inspect the dryer's exterior vent opening and ductwork for blockages or lint accumulation; clear any obstructions
• Verify the dryer door is closing completely and latching properly with an audible click
• Review your dryer's control panel settings to ensure you have selected the correct drying temperature and cycle
• Allow the dryer to cool for 30 minutes, then attempt to run a new drying cycle
• Perform a hard reset by switching off the dryer's circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then switch it back on to clear temporary error codes
• Check that the dryer is not overloaded, as this can cause temperature regulation issues
