Step 01
Signs
• Oven will not heat or maintain temperature
• Error code F30 displays on the control panel
• Oven beeps and locks out during preheat cycle
• Unable to set oven temperature using control buttons
• Cooktop may function normally while oven remains non-operational
• Display shows "F30" with or without audible alarm
• Oven may have been working normally before suddenly stopping

Possible Causes
• Faulty oven temperature sensor (RTD probe) that has failed or drifted out of calibration
• Loose or corroded wiring connections at the temperature sensor terminals
• Damaged or pinched sensor wiring harness inside the oven cavity
• Failed oven control board unable to read temperature sensor signal properly
• Buildup of food debris, grease, or moisture interfering with sensor operation
• Manufacturing defect in temperature sensing circuit
• Power supply issues affecting the 240V circuit dedicated to oven heating element
• Thermal fuse blown due to overheating condition

Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check that your home circuit breaker for the range is switched ON and has not tripped—reset if necessary
• Ensure the oven door closes completely and latches securely
• Wipe down the interior oven walls and remove any visible food debris, grease splatters, or standing water
• Verify cooktop surface is clean and free of spills or obstructions
• Allow the range to cool for 30 minutes if it was recently in use
• Check that the control panel display is set to the correct cooking mode and temperature is entered correctly
• Perform a hard reset by switching OFF the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then switch it back ON
• Attempt to preheat the oven and observe if error code reappears
• Ensure nothing is blocking the oven vent opening on the back or sides of the range
• Verify that the range is plugged in securely (if cord-connected model) and no visible damage to the power cord exists
