Signs

Possible Causes
• Faulty or loose oven temperature sensor (RTD probe) located in the oven cavity
• Broken or corroded wire connection between sensor and control board
• Damaged sensor wiring harness from heat exposure or physical damage
• Loose terminal connections at the sensor plug
• Control board malfunction unable to read sensor signal
• Improper 240V power supply to the range affecting sensor circuit
• Burnt-out sensor element from extended high-temperature use
• Control panel circuit board failure preventing sensor signal processing
Step 03
Safety Checks You Can Do
• Turn off the range circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then turn it back on to reset the appliance
• Check that the oven door closes completely and latches properly
• Allow the range to cool for at least 30 minutes if recently used, then attempt operation again
• Verify the kitchen circuit breaker for the range has not tripped; reset if necessary
• Ensure the oven interior is clean and free of food debris, spills, or obstructions
• Inspect the cooktop surface for any debris or spilled food that could affect sensors
• Review your range manual to confirm the control panel settings are correct for your desired cooking mode
• Unplug the range from the wall outlet for 2-3 minutes, then plug back in to perform a full electrical reset
• Check that the range is receiving proper 240V power and is not on a shared circuit with high-draw appliances
