Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's circuit breaker panel and ensure the dishwasher breaker is in the ON position; if tripped, switch OFF then back ON
• Unplug the dishwasher from the electrical outlet or turn off the dedicated breaker for 60 seconds, then restore power to reset the control board
• Verify the dishwasher door is fully closed and latches securely with an audible click
• Open the dishwasher and inspect the spray arms for food debris, mineral buildup, or blockages; clean holes thoroughly with a toothpick or small brush
• Check the dishwasher interior for loose items, broken glass, or debris that could be blocking sensors
• Remove any food particles from the filter basket and drain strainer at the bottom of the tub
• Inspect the door gasket for cracks, tears, or debris preventing proper closure
• Allow 5-10 minutes after a power reset before attempting to run a new cycle
• Try running a short cycle (such as Rinse Only) to see if the error recurs
• Check that all control panel buttons are functioning and not stuck or physically damaged
• Verify you are selecting a valid wash cycle and that the START button is being fully pressed
