Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's circuit breaker panel and ensure the breaker for the dishwasher is in the ON position; reset it if it appears tripped
• Verify your household water supply is turned on at the main valve under the sink
• Inspect the water supply hose for kinks, bends, or pinching; straighten any obstructions
• Check that the inlet screen filter (located at the water inlet connection) is not clogged; gently clean with water if debris is present
• Ensure the dishwasher door is completely closed and latched firmly until you hear it click
• Review your dishwasher control panel settings to confirm the cycle selected and that no locks or hold features are activated
• Power down the dishwasher by turning off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then turn the breaker back on to allow the appliance to reset
• Run a short test cycle and listen for water filling sounds to confirm water is entering the unit
• Check under the sink for any visible water leaks or disconnected hoses that may indicate a supply line problem
