• Float assembly stuck in raised position
• Tripped circuit breaker on dishwasher circuit

Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's main circuit breaker and the dedicated dishwasher breaker to ensure power is flowing properly
• Verify the dishwasher door is fully closed and latched securely until you hear it click
• Inspect both hot and cold water supply hoses behind the dishwasher for kinks, twists, or crimping
• Ensure water shut-off valves under the sink are fully open (turn counterclockwise)
• Check that the inlet hose screens are not clogged by briefly disconnecting hoses at the dishwasher connection point and checking for debris
• Open the dishwasher door and visually inspect the interior for food debris, glass, or objects blocking spray arm rotation
• Manually rotate both upper and lower spray arms to ensure they spin freely without obstruction
• Verify the dishwasher is not in a pause or delay start mode on the control panel
• Reset the dishwasher by turning off the dedicated circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then turning it back on to clear temporary error codes
• Check your home's water pressure by testing another faucet; if pressure seems low throughout the house, contact your water utility
• Run a test cycle with the door open (standing nearby) to observe if water enters the tub at all
• Ensure the float cup inside the dishwasher tub moves up and down freely and is not stuck
