Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's circuit breaker panel and ensure the dedicated dishwasher breaker is in the ON position; if tripped, switch it OFF and back ON
• Unplug the dishwasher from the electrical outlet or turn off the breaker for exactly 60 seconds, then restore power to allow the control board to reset
• Inspect the dishwasher interior for food debris, broken glass, or utensils blocking the spray arms or sensors
• Remove and clean both the upper and lower spray arms by hand, ensuring all small holes are clear of mineral deposits or debris
• Verify the dishwasher door closes completely and latches firmly with an audible click
• Check that the door seal is intact and not warped or damaged
• Review your current wash cycle settings on the control panel and confirm they are appropriate for your load
• Ensure the detergent dispenser is properly closed and not jammed
• Allow the dishwasher to sit unplugged for several minutes before restarting to allow capacitors to fully discharge
• Run a test cycle on the shortest or quickest wash option to see if the error code reappears
