Safety Checks You Can Do
• Verify your home's circuit breaker is in the ON position and supplying power to the refrigerator outlet
• Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in to reset the control board
• Check that the freezer vents are not blocked by food packages or ice buildup; clear any obstructions carefully
• Ensure the refrigerator doors are closing completely and the door seals are not damaged or deformed
• Review your refrigerator's temperature settings on the control panel to confirm they are set to recommended levels (37°F for fresh food, 0°F for freezer)
• Wait 4-6 hours after plugging in the unit to allow the temperature sensors to stabilize and recalibrate
• Inspect visible wiring connections behind the freezer compartment for any loose plugs (if accessible without disassembly)
• Confirm the defrost drain at the bottom rear of the refrigerator is not frozen or clogged, as this can affect sensor function
