Safety Checks You Can Do
• Verify the circuit breaker serving the refrigerator is in the ON position; if tripped, switch it OFF then back ON
• Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in to reset the control board
• Check that the refrigerator doors are fully closed and sealing properly
• Ensure the condenser coils and vents on the back or underneath are clear of dust and debris using a vacuum
• Verify interior vents are not blocked by food items or ice buildup
• Confirm all control panel buttons are clean and free of spills or residue
• Check that the refrigerator is not located near heat sources or in direct sunlight
• Allow the refrigerator 10-15 minutes to stabilize after power restoration
• Look for any visible loose wires or connectors on the back panel without disassembling
