Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home circuit breaker to ensure the refrigerator circuit has not tripped; reset if necessary
• Verify the refrigerator is plugged securely into the wall outlet and the outlet is functioning properly
• Perform a hard reset by turning off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then turning it back on to allow system reboot
• Inspect all visible vents and air passages on both the fresh food and freezer sides to ensure they are clear of blockages or frost
• Clean the refrigerator condenser coils located on the back or bottom of the unit using a vacuum or soft brush
• Ensure both refrigerator and freezer doors close completely and seal properly with no gaps
• Check that nothing is blocking airflow between compartments
• Verify control panel settings are set to desired temperatures and cooling mode is active
• Allow the refrigerator 4-6 hours to stabilize after power interruption before drawing conclusions about continued error
• Unplug the unit for 5 minutes, then plug back in to allow control board reset
• Check if the error clears after normal operation and stabilization period
