Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's circuit breaker to ensure the freezer circuit has not tripped; reset if necessary and verify the outlet is receiving proper 120V power
• Unplug the freezer and inspect the power cord for any visible damage or loose connections at the wall outlet
• Clean the condenser coils located at the back or bottom of the freezer using a soft brush to remove dust and debris
• Remove items from the freezer and inspect all interior vents and air ducts to ensure they are not blocked by food or frost buildup
• Verify the freezer door closes completely and the door seal is clean and making proper contact with no gaps
• Check the control panel settings and ensure the temperature is set to the desired level; press any reset buttons on the control panel
• Allow the freezer to run for 4-6 hours in a stable environment with room temperature between 60-80°F to allow the system to stabilize
• Perform a hard reset by turning off the circuit breaker serving the freezer for 60 seconds, then restore power and observe if the error code clears
