Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's circuit breaker to ensure the freezer circuit has not tripped; reset if necessary
• Verify the freezer door closes completely and the door seal is not damaged or misaligned
• Inspect freezer vents and air circulation paths inside the unit to ensure nothing is blocking airflow
• Remove any ice buildup or frost around the sensor area if visible without disassembly
• Check that all control panel buttons respond and settings are correctly configured
• Allow the freezer to run for 24 hours to stabilize temperature sensors after any power interruptions
• Perform a hard reset by switching off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then turn back on to allow the control system to recalibrate
• Verify the freezer is on a dedicated 120V circuit without shared load from other high-power appliances
• Check that the freezer is level and properly ventilated with adequate clearance around the unit for airflow
