Signs
• Oven will not heat or heats inconsistently
• Temperature display shows unusual or fluctuating readings
• Oven beeps repeatedly and displays F6 code on the control panel
• Oven cycles on and off unexpectedly during preheating or cooking
• Unable to start bake, broil, or self-cleaning cycles
• Food cooks unevenly or takes significantly longer than normal

Possible Causes
• Faulty or damaged oven temperature sensor (RTD probe) located inside the oven cavity
• Loose or corroded electrical connection between the sensor and control board
• Sensor wire insulation damage or wire breakage
• Control board malfunction or failure preventing proper sensor signal recognition
• Thermal fuse blown due to electrical surge or 240V power fluctuation
• Sensor probe obstruction from food debris or oven buildup
• Moisture or condensation in sensor connector on control board
Step 03
Safety Checks You Can Do
• Power down the oven completely by switching the circuit breaker to OFF position for 60 seconds, then switch back ON to reset the control board
• Verify your home's electrical panel shows the oven circuit breaker in the ON position and has not tripped
• Allow the oven to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before attempting any troubleshooting
• Open the oven door and visually inspect the interior oven cavity walls for any visible debris, food particles, or buildup that may block the sensor
• Check that the oven door closes completely and securely without gaps or resistance
• Verify all control panel settings are correct and no buttons are stuck or pressed unintentionally
• Wipe down the oven interior with a damp cloth to remove any grease or residue that may affect the sensor
• Attempt to run a simple preheat cycle and observe if the error code reappears after the reset
