Step 03
Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's circuit breaker to ensure the washer has proper 120V power and the breaker hasn't tripped
• Inspect both hot and cold water inlet hoses for kinks, twists, or damage; straighten any bent hoses
• Verify water supply valves behind the washer are fully open (turn counterclockwise)
• Ensure the washer door or lid is completely closed and latching properly
• Remove any items blocking the door seal or preventing it from closing fully
• Check that the drum is not overloaded; remove some clothing and attempt the cycle again
• Review your cycle selection and confirm the water level setting is appropriate for your load
• Power cycle the washer by turning off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then turning it back on
• Run a test cycle on a standard or normal setting with no clothes to see if error recurs
• Confirm household water pressure is adequate by checking if other faucets have normal flow
