• Software glitch in the washer's control system requiring reset
• Blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker affecting 120V power delivery
• Defective door/lid latch switch preventing proper cycle communication

Safety Checks You Can Do
• Check your home's circuit breaker panel and verify the breaker for the washer outlet is in the ON position; if tripped, switch it OFF then back ON
• Unplug the washer or turn off the dedicated circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then restore power to allow the control system to reset
• Verify the washer is plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet with proper 120V power delivery
• Ensure the washer door or lid is fully closed and latches completely; open and close it firmly several times
• Remove any items blocking the door seal or lid closure area
• Check that the washer drum is not overloaded; remove some clothing and attempt a new cycle
• Verify water supply hoses are connected securely and the supply valves are turned fully ON
• Inspect the washer's exterior for signs of moisture, leaks, or water damage near the control panel
• Allow the washer to sit powered off for several hours, then attempt operation again
• Try a different cycle setting to determine if the error is specific to one program
• Avoid using extension cords; ensure washer is connected directly to a wall outlet
